Information Ethics

Ethical conduct encompasses different activities, some of which primarily depend on an individual’s virtues as opposed to the repercussions of a particular activity. In particular, an employee may not be warned of engaging in certain forms of communication with a competitor, but personal values could warn the said employee that it would be disloyal of him or her to be actively involved with the competitors in some activities that could harm his or her organization. Therefore, just as much as ethics involve international communication within an organizational context, ethical conduct also dictates the handling of information
