A great example of a supply chain that has a global presence is Proctor and Gamble also referred to as P&G. The company has operations in more than one hundred and fifty countries with more than one thousand products that are marketed at the global level. Most of the products that the company provides are for use at the household level although the form also offers healthcare products (Semmelhack, 2013). An example of a domestic value chain that is present in a small business can be observed at Solar Winds Company. The company offers IT products and software to small businesses across the country.
