1. Watch these three videos . The one with Kohn is a bit dense–do not worry if you do not understand everything. Hopefully, it will help you understand the article. The point with this video is that you try to think differently about animals and thought. The other two are easier to get through and understand.

2. Post a discussion (7 sentences minimum) about your reactions to the film clips and how they relate to other concepts in class. How do they relate to the assigned reading? How does this affect your view of human/animal interactions?
3. Respond to at least 2 other classmates. These should be substantive responses and not simply “I agree.” Try to focus on the required parts listed above.
