Abortion is a tremendously provocative matter and one that can stir very resilient approaches on both sides of the argument. Those who strongly support abortion rights claim that it’s the choice of any woman to do what she wants to do with her body. Nevertheless terminating any pregnancy is equivalent to committing murder simply because the unborn baby inside the woman is alive and equal to any living being. However, no one has the “choice” to commit murder, true? According to Marquis (1989), abortion is morally wrong, all the laws and regulations ruling out abortion assist in curbing this evil act which is basically against the will of the Supreme Being.
