Major Elements that Contributed to The Birth of Urban America.

In the first years of the twentieth century, industrialization in the United States of America led to the unparalleled and exceptional immigration of people to the urban settlements. Notably, the massive migration of people of different cultures, races, and nationalities into the States transformed the nation’s towns to cities. As early as in 1900, American towns were centers of business attracting a large number of laborers. Nonetheless, many immigrants and laborers were not financially stable, being forced to converge and concentrate on urban slums. Nevertheless, the towns could not have transformed rapidly into cities if not accelerated by different aspects and elements as discussed below.
