There are many ways that one can use to define family in the context of any society. According to me, family is simply a set of individuals living together as one unit consisting of the parents and children. These individuals should be related by blood and the family relations build the strongest bond between people living in the society. The existence of the name family was supposed to be defined by the possibility of marriage and a certain household that people lived in together. The issue became complicated when the family was extended to the people sharing a common lineage, ancestry, and bloodline regardless of how far it reached to. The extended family consist of people in different marriages, color skin, origins and many other factors but share a common root.
