Analyzing an Issue or Event in Diversity Through the Lenses of History and the Humanities

Analyzing an Issue or Event in Diversity Through the Lenses of History and the Humanities

Pay Attention to the Guidelines and Rubric

Milestone Two is where you will start the actual analyses of your topic per each lens, focusing on the history and humanities lens in this milestone. While you made a connection between your topic and each of the lenses in Milestone One, for the lens analyses, you will go into more depth regarding how the given lens can inform your topic or how your topic may have contributed/impacted the research and study in that lens. Make sure to closely review the Milestone Two Guidelines and Grading Rubric for details of content to be included in analyses.

Please keep in mind that while you are submitting your analyses for both the history and humanities lens in this milestone, this submission should include two separate papers – one written for each lens. These two papers should be incorporated into one Word document, clearly indicated with a title heading (i.e. Humanities Lens Analysis). You should not discuss both lenses in one paper (i.e. different paragraphs within the same writing). Also, make sure to include scholarly research or reliable popular source content to support each analysis.

The format of the document submitted for this assignment should be:

1) Milestone cover page

2) History Lens Analysis

3) Humanities Lens Analysis

I hope you are enjoying this project! Please let me know if you have any questions at any time!
