Question

Can you please use the sources on the attached file to form the annotated bibliography? My paper is going to be about the poverty in Syracuse NY regarding education, income, employment which are what the references on the attached file are. I appreciate it 🙂 And if you can please just find one more source. The details of how the annotated bibliography should be are below.

For your selected topic, identify four relevant peer-reviewed sources. Use these sources to develop an Annotated Bibliography (2-3 pages).

Students are required to include a brief literature review as a part of the Final Paper due in Module 10. A literature review discusses peer-reviewed, scholarly journal articles to communicate to the reader where scholarly research stands on a particular area of a discipline. It is often appropriate and expected that an author acknowledges what other scholars have already said about a particular subject matter. The literature review section is where this scholarly, peer-reviewed material is presented in order to provide an intellectual and research-based context.

Essentially, a literature review provides an overview of a large (and sometimes overwhelming) body of published research. It summarizes and synthesizes research-related findings and ideas that have emerged from key scholars over the years. The literature review is organized to demonstrate how one researcher builds on or refutes the findings of another researcher.

An annotated bibliography includes a summary and/or evaluation of published research and is often one of the first steps taken in the literature review process. After locating a few scholarly and relevant sources, annotations are composed that accompany each source, speak to relevance, and discuss the contributions of each to the subject area.

One important reason to write an annotated bibliography is to learn more about your subject matter. Locating sources is useful. However, composing annotations for each source requires you to read each one more critically and begin to understand what has already been researched and where your work fits into the broader conversation happening at the scholarly level. By reading and analyzing different sources, you’ll start to see what the issues are and what people are arguing about, so you’ll be able to develop your own perspective. With this knowledge, you are better able to contribute something that is interesting, useful, unique (does not repeat work that has already been done by others), and current.

Conduct independent research to locate and review a number of peer-reviewed journal articles related to your Evaluation’s topic.

Select four (4) peer-reviewed journal articles that you feel should be included in a literature review for your paper. Pay particular attention to key scholars/researchers whose names are repeatedly mentioned in the Reference lists of the articles you find. You will want to carefully select articles published in the most prestigious journals in the field. Three must be 2015 or more recent.
Compose an annotation for each peer-reviewed article that follows the guidelines herein and clearly label each section with the headings below:
APA Citation: Include a full, properly formatted APA reference for each journal article.
Summary: In your own words, compose a well-written summary of the research article. Make sure your annotation paragraphs are fully developed with a topic sentence and at least 4-5 support sentences but no more than 8-10 support sentences. (1-2 paragraphs)
Relevancy Reflection: Discuss the article’s contribution to the discipline and its relevance to your evaluation. Make sure your annotation paragraphs are fully developed with a topic sentence and at least 4-5 support sentences but no more than 6-8 support sentences. (1-2 paragraphs)
