Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Urinary Obstruction
Case 3 i). Being prognostic hyperplasia (BPH) usually predispose its patients to cancer. The cancer types that BPH predisposes an individual to is the bladder cancer as well as the prostate cancer. Bladder cancer may result due to the link of the remaining urine in the bladder in patients with the BPH.The urine remaining in the bladder lowers the damage of the urinary tract as a result of exposing the individual to the released carcinogens which causes cancer. However in prostate cancer, the BPH is not associated to cancer nor does it aggravate the chances of an individual to develop cancer however the prostate becomes enlarged with a normal flow of urine (Shah, Srivastava, & Karan, 2018).
