LGBT in Theater
LGBT are initials for the lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender. The LGBT is a term that is used to represent a group of people who are homosexual. In other words, those people are usually attracted sexually to people of their same sexual orientation (Renn 2007). For example, men who are attracted to men are known as gays while females who are attracted to other women are known as lesbians. Before LGBT was accepted in the U.S government, those people were very much hated by the society. Any person who admitted was gay or lesbian or was suspected to be so was extremely stigmatized by the community.
