The names of the candidates for your assignment:
Let me just say that it is anticipated that several candidates may drop out of the race after the debates in this next year. If a candidate listed below drops out, you do not have to include them in your assignment. I will make changes as they drop out and delete them from your list of Candidate “To Do’s” – informing you by class announcement on Canvas.
***You ARE to do all the candidates listed… if there is someone running, not listed below, that you would like to include you may do so.
As we head towards Spring 2020 debates and onward, there is a good chance some of the below listed candidates may drop out of the race- Please check to see if they are still running. If you see they have dropped out then you can skip doing them.
Bill Weld
Donald Trump
Joe Biden
Pete Buttigieg
Amy Klobuchar
Bernie Sanders
Elizabeth Warren
Tom Steyer
Michael Bloomberg

Election Issues Assignment Tips:
Since this is an Individual Assignment. This information may seem tough, but honestly I have looked and there are quite a few sites that have summarized the candidates’ positions on the issues. Summaries of the previous debates may be helpful, and that can be found online as well. There are debates anticipated for 2020 but have not been published yet. I encourage you to watch debates to understand what the issues are, and how they are proposed to be addressed by the candidates running.
