In order for a reader to understand the rhetorical analysis, they must first understand the article at hand. Therefore, you must include a summary. Summaries should include the main point of the article and supporting pointsBody paragraphs should follow PIE paragraph format. That is, they make a point about a rhetorical move the author is using, they illustrate how the author is doing that thing by including examples, and they provide an explanation analyzing why the author said/did that thing and what the intended effect was.
Introductions should include: background information to the topic at hand, then introduce the article. When introducing the article, they should introduce the author, title, where the article was published, and what the main point was
