The creator created all men equal, and they possess certain unalienable rights that one cannot take away. The powers are enshrining under the declaration by Thomas Jefferson such as the right to liberty, life and the pursuit of happiness and they are all equal under the eyes of God. The government has to protect and preserve the rights of the people. God ordains the people placed in authority, and therefore they should act reasonably and rule wisely.
